CU-31:CARDIOID Condenser Microphone (Axis
Direction)
CU-32:CARDIOID Condenser Microphone (90 degree Direction)
A small, high-resolution condenser microphone designed mainly for music
recording, the CU-31 and CU-32 microphones capture sound beautifully,
not only with a full orchestra but also in solo musical instrument performances.
A high transient response allows the broadcast or recording of superb
percussion and cymbal sounds.
The Series CU-31/32 have been developped in conjunction with NHK. They
feature SANKEN's original Push-Pull type capsule design, which gives
them a dynamic range 6db wider than conventional microphones of the
same size. In addition th their high dynamic range of 129db (maximum
SPL=148dB at 1% THD), they offer a very flat frequency response and
a very good off axis behavior without coloration of the sound.
Like all SANKEN Microphones, they come with a light, strong, corrosion-free
one-micron titanium diaphragm which is immune to changes in temperature
and humidity. They are very practical proven microphones. They are renowend
not only for their quality, but also for ther reliability.
